The best window is once the ground has thawed but before the grass really takes off, roughly late March into April in this area. How long does it take and do I need to be there?

Most one time cleanups take somewhere between forty five minutes and a few hours depending on everything above. You do not need to be home. We work through the gate, and if the gate has a trick to it or a code, tell us when you book.

If your dog is friendly and stays out, that is fine. If your dog would rather we not be there, put them inside for the visit. We will let you know when we are done.

Everything we collect leaves with us in sealed bags unless you specifically want it in your own trash. Our equipment gets cleaned between properties, which matters on a heavy accumulation job more than anywhere else, because that is where parasite eggs are most concentrated.

Should I just sign up for regular service instead?

Sometimes, and we will tell you honestly which makes more sense for you. If the backlog happened because of a one off (an injury, a move, a bad month), a one time clean up and then back to doing it yourself is a perfectly good answer.

If the backlog happened because life is simply full, it will happen again. In that case the smarter move is to let us clear it once and then keep it clear with a weekly or every other week dog poop pick up service, which costs less per visit because there is far less to collect each time.
