Northeast Ohio does not hand you one yard. It hands you four of them, and they show up on a schedule. The yard you walk in February, with a crust of old snow over everything, has almost nothing in common with the soft ground you walk in late March or the thick, fast growing grass of June. December through February: frozen, buried, and stacking up

Winter is the season most people quietly give up on. It gets dark before dinner, the wind comes across open ground in Hartville and Suffield with nothing to slow it down, and the lake sends bands of snow inland that can bury a yard in Hudson or Streetsboro overnight while Boardman stays clear. Waste does not break down in that cold. It freezes in place, gets covered, and waits.

We keep running through it. Frozen waste is actually cleaner to handle than most people expect, and staying on a weekly rhythm through winter is the difference between a normal spring and a miserable one. When snow is deep enough that we genuinely cannot find things, we tell you rather than pretend, and we come back for it.

March and April: the thaw, and everything it gives back

This is the hardest month of the year for a yard here, and it is the reason our phone rings. The snow goes, the ground turns to soft clay, and three months of accumulation surfaces all at once. A thaw yard takes longer than a maintained one, and we plan for that. We work slowly across it, because half of what is out there is flattened into wet grass and matted leaves rather than sitting on top. May through August: heat, humidity, and grass that outruns you

Ohio summers are humid, and humid heat is what turns a manageable yard into an unpleasant one fast. We work the same pattern in fall that we work in June, just slower, and we shift leaf cover rather than looking past it.

• A full walk of the yard on your schedule, weekly, twice weekly, three times weekly, or every other week
• All waste bagged and hauled off your property, not left in your bin unless you want it there
• A gate check every single visit, latched the way we found it
• A note when we are done, so you know the yard is clear before you let the dog out
• Equipment sanitized between properties, which matters more than most people realize when yards share a route

You do not need to be home. Most of our customers never are. We just need reliable access to the yard and a heads up if a dog will be out loose.

What it costs

Pricing here starts with how often we come and how many dogs live there. Weekly service starts at $52.00 per visit for one dog, $65.00 per visit for two dogs, and $78.00 per visit for three dogs. Every other week service starts at $43.33 per month for one dog, $49.83 per month for two, and $56.33 per month for three. Larger households are quoted the same way, just further along the scale.

If your yard has not been cleared in a while, the first visit is handled as a one time cleanup: $45.00, plus $20.00 for each additional five gallon bucket we haul away. After that you are on the regular rate. These are starting points, so the quote you get back will reflect your actual yard.
